The Learning Environment Services (LES) supports:

  • Installation and day-to-day operational management of AV/IT equipment in the University's learning environments that include the centrally administered classrooms and lecture theatres, learning commons, computer laboratories; and audio visual infrastructure in any of the above locations and special technologies (e.g., lecture video capture equipment)

  • Learning environment consulting services to academic and administrative departments of the University

  • Management of learning commons for student-centred learning activities

  • Management of communal PC facilities

  • Monitoring the installation and commissioning work conducted by sub-contractors related to classroom setup

  • Short-term loan of audio-visual equipment

  • Service for department/staff PCs

  • Service for special lectures, seminars, conference, events

  • Testing and evaluation of new audio-visual equipment
